Dear Windward Students and Families,

 

We will be wrapping up the school year tomorrow—Friday, June 11. We are excited to see you all and celebrate with you before taking off for summer. We look forward to a special day for you to share with friends, faculty, and members of the Windward community.

 

UPDATED INFORMATION RE Yearbooks: Having your OneCard will make distribution go more smoothly. If you have not purchased a yearbook and would like to, you may contact Vanessa Vazquez in the Business Office - email Vanessa Vazquez Tomorrow, any student who has not pre-paid can visit Vanessa at table 7 on the field, Vanessa can take payment using student OneCards for the yearbooks.

 

In addition, please bring any equipment that you need to return.

 

Please note there are no classes tomorrow.  Here is the celebration schedule by grade level:

 

Middle School (Grades 7-8)

• Middle School will be on campus from approximately 10:00* am - 11:30 am
• Here is the drop-off and pick-up schedule. Please adhere to your child’s times.
• We will begin with a treat and a Middle School Assembly followed by the Yearbook Presentation on Foley field
• The morning will conclude with the Yearbook distribution and signing

Upper School (Grades 9-12)

• Upper School will be on campus from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
  • We ask that students students arrive/depart in the following staggered times to minimize traffic in the Sawtelle Lot:
    • Last Names A-H: Arrive 12:20 pm -12:30 pm & Depart 2:30 pm
    • Last Names I-P: Arrive 12:30-12:40 pm & Depart 2:40 pm
    • Last Names Q-Z: Arrive 12:40 pm-12:50 pm & Depart 2:50 pm

**Juniors WILL NOT be allowed to park on campus on this day. Seniors will be parking in the Sawtelle Lot**

• We will begin with snacks and an Upper School Assembly on Foley Field and follow that meeting with a Yearbook Presentation.
• The day will conclude with the Yearbook distribution, signing. 

 

The unique schedule this year means that graded work will not be returned on the last day; final grades will be released to families the week of June 21. We look forward to seeing everyone on campus to say Happy Summer!!
